TubeTweet is not only useful, but also looks fantastic since it's optimised for the iPhone 4's beautiful retina display.

What does it do?

TubeTweet is an iPhone application that aggregates tweets in London for each TFL tube line, pulling in both official and commuter tweets based on specific keywords and geo data, some tweets can also be viewed on google maps.

Why is that interesting?

Often you dont find out until its too late that your intended line is suspended, held or closed. Yet commuters are often tweeting warnings and other tube transport related commentary to their followers and friends. TweetTube aggregates that information and displays it in an easy to use interface.

Sentiment readings, are commuters happy or annoyed on your intended line?

WIFI underground may be rolled out in time for the 2012 Olympics in London, if it does TubeTweet would become an even more valuable mobile app.
